With K-Pop bands popping up onto the American music scene, it seems like everyone wants to know more about Korea. Did you know that North Korea and South Korea are two completely different countries? The northern part is a strict communist regime, whereas the southern part is just a normal country. Even though Seoul, South Korea has more Starbucks than any other city in the world, there isnt a single Starbucks in North Korea. Since the Kim dynasty rejects American culture, its not really a big surprise that they dont have this well-known coffee shop there. However, they do now sell Western-style coffee in North Korea, so they cant pretend to hate everything about us.
Can you imagine life without deodorant? Due to a genetic mutation, South Koreans dont have to wear deodorant to mask their body odor. But this makes it super hard for us normal people to find deodorant anywhere in the country. If you want to avoid running around to find some, just make sure to pack extras in your luggage.
