Even with access to the internet there are just some things that are better to learn with some proper guidance. Things like paying bills, finding a job or applying for a loan are almost entirely alien concepts without proper guidance. If students don’t have that guidance readily available at home they are left to fend for themselves. While the expression of needing to crack a few eggs to make an omelet may apply to some cases there are some aspects of life that would benefit younger generations to learn before they experience it first-hand.
