Our vast oceans are full of menacing creatures, none more impressive in size than the whale. With some species stretching the size of an entire basketball court, these underwater beasts could fit hundreds of us tiny humans in their mouths if they wanted to. The tale of Pinocchio and Mr. Geppetto being swallowed whole might be fiction, however, real-life stories have been shared showing that people really can be gulped up by whales, and, miraculously, lived to tell the tale - there's even newspaper evidence to prove it.
