We're going to look at several reasons why that's happening, and they all point to one central cause: climate change. And while it might be convenient for us to stop there, well, it wouldn't make for a very informative video, would it? Because if you break down the hub of that reason, not only will that yield several elements that deserve more attention, but each of them might also pose a series of solutions on how to reverse that trend.

Rising sea levels, warmer aquatic temperatures, the gradual disappearance of phytoplankton and algae, and so on each possess different pieces of the environmental puzzle that's been smashed with its fragments floating in these precarious ecosystems waiting to be put together again. And given that roughly three-quarters of the earth's surface is covered by water, most of them oceans, well, the effects of change isn't going to make for rosy futures of residents on the coast and further inland.

Color will obviously one of the most visible changes we'll notice if climate change continues to be a threat. But given the horrific ramifications to life on this planet, color is probably the least environmental change that will be on our minds.
