As Forbes said, she's the youngest-ever self-made billionaire, reaching a ten-figure fortune at an even younger age than Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg. Kylie Cosmetics launched two years ago with a $29 Lip Kit, comprising of a matching lipstick and lip liner. But Kylie's business brain wasn't satisfied with just selling Lip Kits. She knew that if she wanted to make it big, she'd need to diversify.

So what was once a small line of lip colors became much larger. Kylie released 30 new products in 2017, including concealer and makeup brushes, and many more color combinations in 2018. Soon enough, Kylie Cosmetics was taking over the western world, one Lip Kit at a time. Many people have questioned the definition of 'self-made,' claiming that Kylie had a lot of help behind the scenes along with a prominent family to help her along the way.
