Remember when you used to play with Barbies, Bratz, and Monster High dolls as a kid? You had so much fun you never even realized how unrealistic these dolls actually looked! But Ukrainian artist Olga Kamenetskaya believes real beauty is always better. So, she spends most afternoons removing makeup from dolls and repainting them in a very realistic way. But Olga doesn't just give these plastic beauties new makeup. In addition to adding lifelike features, she modifies the shapes of their faces and gives them different hairstyles too. In the process she does away with the concept of unrealistic perfect symmetry by allowing people to embrace tiny flaws on the dolls we can all relate to.
