Billie Eilish is the cool girl we all want to be friends with, but she wasn't always respected in the music industry like she is now. Back when "Ocean Eyes" was released, Billie and her brother, Finneas O'Connell, received a whirlwind of fame that opened doors. They continued to make incredible music and music videos that were equally as jarring and unique. Billie brought a whole new vibe to pop music, but the industry didn't seem to be ready for her. But now with the release of the "Roma" award-winning film inspired single track, "When I Was Older" and it's previous counterpart "When The Party's Over", people are starting to catch on. We know, Billie has a major fan base, sold out shows, and music that is changing the genre of pop, but it wasn't until the end of 2018 and into 2019 that Billie started to see some respect from the pop world and the music industry itself. Watch this video as TheTalko shows you just how Billie wasn't respected in the pop music industry…until now!
