Space...the final frontier. Elon Musk is one of the most innovative people in the world. He's the CEO of Tesla and is the founder, lead designer, and CEO of SpaceX. He is also the brains behind some of the most ground-breaking technology in the world. Specializing in transportation, Tesla cars have become a favorite among the world's elite. But Elon doesn't want to just stop at electric cars. He's looking up and has his eyes set on the stars. Or, more specifically, on Mars. Elon is worried about the future of the human race. If history has told us anything, it's that we're likely to have another World War sometime in the future. Nuclear warfare and artificial intelligence just might be the end of our species. And if that ends up happening, then where can humans run to? For Elon, that safe haven is going to be Mars. SpaceX is currently working on a massive, reusable rocket that will be able to transport about 100 humans at a time to the red planet. While Elon hasn't completely worked out how humans will survive on Mars yet, he's very focused on how we're going to get there. Plus, he wants to make these trips as economical as possible so that it won't just be the rich people who can afford it. In this video, we're going to dive deep into what Elon has up his sleeve with his Mars rocket and will take a look at how he plans to ensure the survival of the human race. Some people have their doubts—like the amazing Bill Nye the Science Guy, but Elon is a smart guy. Not only does he have Mars in mind for colonization, but he envisions creating technology that will allow us to tour the planets and stars. One day, he will hopefully make this endeavor as easy as hopping into an airplane.
