Thank god for cell phone cameras. If it wasn't for them, think of how many amazing moments we wouldn't be able to capture. In fact—and try not to be overwhelmed by this fact—think of how many amazing moments from history we've missed seeing due to an absence of cameras. Regular cameras have only existed for a couple hundred years, and smartphone cameras for barely over a decade, so most of what has happened in human history has been insufficiently documented. It's better today, but many events still slip through the cracks. Most events, actually. Because although nearly all of us carry cameras wherever we go, it still takes us several seconds to begin recording. And, as we all know, the most amazing events happen spontaneously. This is why the footage in this video is so unbelievable, and it's all thanks to cameras operating at the right place at the right time. Luck is the best photographer of all.
