Time capsules capture a moment from the past. You can find all sorts of different things, like old movie tickets, clothes, art, school supplies, magazines, and more. They are usually buried underground and are not supposed to be opened for decades, or even centuries, to come. As a society, we usually respect the date written on the capsule. When these time capsules do get opened, they become worldwide news and grab everyone's attention. Unlike museum artifacts, which are restored and often tampered with, time capsule findings haven't been touched since they were placed in their container.
