One part of life sees some of us become parents. Traditionally, society believes you should get married first, but not all of us adhere to a certain order or schedule...and that’s okay! Most of us have been born with the ability to breed, and if not, some have even looked into adoption. It seems that the need to raise a young one is part of our genealogy. Some people become parents by accident, some have to try for a bit, and others are content with being the cool aunt or uncle. But, it seems that there are a special group of parents where it’s unbelievable that they even have the title of “Mom” or “Dad.” They might have done something extraordinary, or they did something to their kid that makes us believe they shouldn’t be allowed to have kids. It always seems like when the latter happens, we get reminded of the millions of people who want to be parents so bad, but can’t do it naturally. It seems really unfair. But then, on the other side of that, there are some people who are truly rockin’ it as parents and we consider ourselves better people for knowing that they exist.
