There are strict laws in place to protect child actors in the entertainment industry. But that hasn’t stopped producers and directors from exploiting children in horror films and inappropriately suggestive movies. We’ll be showing you some of the films where actresses were way too young for the scenes they were performing, from Brooke Shields in “Pretty Baby” to Dominique Swain in “Lolita.” You’ll be shocked to see these controversial films that were made for adults, but used young girls in the provocative roles. This is: 10 Child Stars Who Were Too Young For Their Roles.
When “The Exorcist” was released in 1973, moviegoers were creeped out by the scenes that involved child actress Linda Blair. Blair played the role of a girl who was possessed by vicious entities, and some believed the subject matter was too mature for an actress as young as she was. Another horror film that was greeted with controversy was “Let the Right One” starring Lina Leandersson. You’ll have to watch our video to find out why people were up in arms about Leandersson’s role in this movie.
Before appearing in “Black Swan,” Natalie Portman was playing the role of a child assassin in “Léon: The Professional.” People were extremely upset by her character’s relationship with a much older man in the film. If you want to hear more about this cringeworthy movie, make sure to tune in!
