Our world is full of amazing and incredible stories. From stories of heroics to tales of men and women conquering various goals, there’s a lot to make you optimistic when it comes to living on this planet. Much of what we find incredible often has to do with incredible stories of individuals. These following 10 stories are some of the most amazing when it comes to conquering adversity and facing great challenges. Indeed, these are 10 amazing people you won’t believe actually exist.
We’ll start off with Indian Deepak Paswan, a boy born with an extra set of legs and arms. From there, we’ll go to China and introduce you to Qian Hongyan. After losing her legs in an accident, this little girl used a basketball as a prosthetic to help her get around. When Juliana Wetmore was born, some people actually thought she should have been euthanized. That’s because this amazing little girl was born without a face – yet today, things are looking up. Looking for a truly inspiring sports story? Look no further than Bobby Martin. With no legs, Martin did the unimaginable and played High School football. Then there’s Mandy Sellar. Rather than having no legs, her problem was that they were too big because of a disease that caused uncontrollable growth in her limbs. Next we’ll move on to Jonathan Pitre, a Canadian boy whose skin is so sensitive it falls off and blisters at the slightest touch. Back in India, Mohammad Kaleem had to deal with being picked on because he had the largest hands in the world. Then there’s Claudio Viera de Oliveira. He is known as the man with the upside down head thanks to being born with a condition where his head actually looks like it’s on backwards. Another absolutely amazing person we’ll look at is Mark Vujicic. Mark has no limbs, yet is constantly undertaking activities to show how that won’t stop him. Finally, there’s Victoria Wright. Suffering from Cherubism, Wright’s face is larger than most people’s because tissue is growing abnormally. Despite being stared at and used as the butt of the joke by comedians, she lives a productive life.
