Thousands of people flock to Thailand every year to take in all the tranquil beaches the country has to offer. But, if you didn’t know about the “Emerald Cave” then you would miss its special beach only reachable by swimming! Another beach that is only reachable by swimming is “Hidden Beach” in Mexico. This epic beach is actually the result of the Mexican government bombing the nearby Marieta Islands in the early 1900’s.
For people who would rather take their chances on foot, there are several options. Like, Happy Bay in St. Martin! To get to Happy Bay you must first find the entrance to the footpath. Then, a 15 minute hike will lead you to your secluded destination. Another beach accessible by foot is Suluban Beach in Bali. You have to walk down several flights of stairs, and through a cave before the ocean welcomes you at this beach! Plus, you might have to fight for room on the tiny beach, because it is a surfing hot spot, and gets pretty busy!
