It is common knowledge that we share this world with animals. Just there are billions of people, there are probably even more animals. But what has made us superior over these creatures is the fact that we have critical thinking and cognitive advantages in comparison, technically making humans the dominant and “superior” species. However, we have found a way to coexist with animals in a variety of terms such as just letting them exist in the wild, training them for entertainment, keeping them in captivity, or even housing them in our homes as pets.
However, even if humans are the dominating species, and animals seem to be subordinate to us, it doesn’t mean that there are the occasional mishaps from interaction. In this video are some of the most awkward animal encounters. When these incidences happen, there isn’t much that can be done except to ride out the encounter and hope that it ends as quickly as it began. But what makes the situations even funnier is that the animal really doesn’t care unless they’re being harmed or deprived of food. Animals don’t normally have to worry about what people or other animals think of them, and they rather follow their instinct instead of following rules. If something smells interesting, they’re going to smell it. If something itches, they’re going to scratch it, even if the Queen of England is visiting. So really, at the end of the day, what is making the encounter awkward is us humans. Perhaps we need to take a note from the animal kingdom?
